Losing my father was HORRIBLE. I miss him, and my mother, in the worst way. That being said... dad's memorial was precious to me. I had not seen Luke since he was just a baby, and wow, what an incredible person he is! John, Scott, Bud, Rosemary and Celeste, and I used to play together when we were children. But I didn't recognize John and Scott when I saw them when we met at the cemetery. How sad is that?! And it had been years since I had an opportunity to see Marie, or my Aunt Linda (I'm going to be like her someday when I grow up!) My sweet sister-in-law Marlene and my brother Bud.. no one can imagine how much it meant to me to see them. I can't let so much time pass again without seeing Bud and Marlene.
For those who don't know, Bud and Marlene have two incredible daughters, Mandy and Michelle. I only know them through FB, and once or twice I met them years ago. I do know that Michelle has incredible talent with home-making skills. She has.. or had... goats and has kept a blog on all the soaps and knitting projects and such that she does. That takes talent! She has two beautiful daughters I have never met. Mandy is a great mom to her daughter and has a fabulous sense of humor. She seems pretty easy to talk to. I hope they will both chime in on the blog!
I have spent literally hours on the darn picture on this page! Most of the night! I am writing this entry in a state of "bleary-eyed"! I want to make this fun and have stuff I want to put on each of the pages. But, I'm going to take a break. I'll make a few more entries later.
Just for fun pictures. I LOVE pictures!
Hehe!!! Sorry, I just COULDN'T resist!! My grandson, Michael!
